Reserved Instance
Is unsubscribing reserved instances supported?
When you purchase a reserved instance, the corresponding resources are secured for your use. Refunds or cancellations of reserved instances are not permitted.
Is it possible to purchase reserved instances for already created BCC instances?
Yes, purchasing reserved instances with the same instance specifications can match existing postpaid BCC instances with the same specifications
What is the relationship between reserved instances and BCC instances?
Reserved instances and BCC instances operate on independent lifecycles. Coupons apply only to BCC instance billing during the charging process, and users are not required to pay for the discounted BCC instances.
Will an expired reserved instance affect the BCC instance?
The reserved instance will only offset charges for postpaid instances of the same specifications but will not impact the status of BCC instance resources. You can continue to log in and use the BCC instance; however, the previously deducted BCC instances will be charged at the postpaid rate.
Do I still need to pay for BCC instances after I have purchased an instance?
During billing, reserved instances will offset the costs for postpaid BCC instances of the same specifications and quantity. No charges will be incurred for these BCC instances during the validity period of the reserved instances. Note that deductions only apply to the BCC instance and not to the CDS system disk, data disk, EIP, or other resources associated with the BCC instance.
