1. Service scope
Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) is an auto-scalable computing service that provides dynamically adjustable processing capacity. It is simpler and more efficient to manage compared to physical servers. Users can create or terminate any number of Baidu Cloud Compute instances based on their service needs to enhance operational efficiency. The service provides a stable and reliable foundation for quick application deployment, simplifies large-scale network computing, and allows users to focus more on core application innovation. It eliminates the need to spend time and money on purchasing and maintaining hardware for hosting virtual machines, thereby effectively reducing IT costs.
2. Service availability
2.1. The service availability of Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) will be calculated for each BCC instance based on the following two cases during each service period:

2.2. Service availability commitment
(1) For the single-instance case, Baidu AI Cloud guarantees a BCC service availability not less than 99.975% per service period;
(2) In the scenario of a single region with multiple availability zones, Baidu AI Cloud ensures a BCC service availability of no less than 99.995% per service period.
3. Data persistence
The data of the BCC cloud disk server is stored using multi-replica methods, ensuring a data persistence rate of no less than 99.9999999%. The counting cycle adheres to calendar months, with partial months treated as full months. Data usage is calculated in MB.
4. Data destructibility
4.1. When a user actively deletes data or needs to destruct data after the service period expires, Baidu AI Cloud will automatically clear the corresponding disk and memory data on the physical server, making the data unrecoverable. Agreed deletion deadline is upon service expiration, which complies with legal requirements.
4.2. When the equipment used by Baidu AI Cloud BCC instances is deprecated or failed hard disks are deprecated, data will be cleared and degaussed.
5. Data migratability
5.1. [Immigration-in] If users enable Baidu AI Cloud BCC services, Baidu AI Cloud provides tools such as server migration center and image import to facilitate rapid data migration.
5.2. [Migration-out] When using Baidu AI Cloud BCC services, users can delete data or migrate data out via the network as needed; when discontinuing BCC services, users can migrate data out or delete data online.
6. Data privacy
6.1. Baidu AI Cloud employs encryption and security groups to ensure data isolation between users sharing the same resource pool.
6.2. BCC services support VPC deployment. A virtual private cloud (VPC) is a customizable virtual network that helps users build their own network environment. By specifying configurations such as IP address ranges and subnets, users can quickly create a VPC. Different VPCs are completely isolated, allowing users to create and manage BCC instances within the VPC.
7. Data transparency right
7.1. Users have the right to know the geographic location of data and backup data centers, as well as the number of data backups, including:
7.1.1 Currently, Baidu AI Cloud data centers are located in regions such as North China, East China, and South China. When activating cloud services, users must select the corresponding data center based on geographic location, and user data will be stored in the designated data center;
7.1.2 Baidu AI Cloud services feature automatic data backup function. The number of backups is detailed in the relevant technical documentation. The backup data is stored in the same data center as the source data by default. Users may also create snapshot backups for cloud disk server (CDS).
7.1.3 Baidu AI Cloud's data centers will comply with local laws and regulations. Users have the right to know this information and can contact Baidu AI Cloud customer service personnel for detailed information.
7.1.4 Except as required by local laws, regulations, or for compliance with government regulatory/audit requirements, user data, applications, and activity logs will not be disclosed to third parties. Except for statistic analysis on operation status of Baidu AI Cloud products, user activity logs will not disclose personal data externally.
8. Data auditability
In adherence to applicable laws and regulations, or due to requirements from regulatory authorities for oversight, compliance, auditing, or forensic investigations, Baidu AI Cloud will disclose information related to the services utilized by users. This includes logs of key component operations, operation records of personnel, and user operation records, provided the necessary procedures and legal documentation are complete.
9. Service functions
Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) is a professional, high-performance, and highly reliable cloud service. Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) instances can be activated via the web or API, offering management features like online resizing and monitoring alerts. For detailed information on Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) functionalities, refer to the technical manuals, documentation, and help resources available on the official Baidu AI Cloud website. Any changes to Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) functionalities that may impact users will be notified accordingly.
10. Service resource allocation capability
10.1. Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) offers multiple specifications and configurations. Users may select suitable specifications and configurations as needed and perform service unsubscription or upgrades between different specifications.
10.2. Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) supports elastic scaling, allowing users to expand or reduce their BCC resources online as needed. Resource allocation is subject to quota limits. Users may submit a ticket to request quota increase. 10.3. Users can enable or release approximately 100 cloud servers within 10 minutes, or complete shutdown, or CPU and memory upgrade operations within 5 minutes. Baidu Cloud Compute of Baidu AI Cloud also supports online real-time upgrades of public network bandwidth.
11. Fault recovery capability
11.1. Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) provide 7×24 hours operation services for paid users, with technical support available via online tickets and hotline assistance.
11.2. Baidu AI Cloud has a comprehensive fault emergency response mechanism, including fault monitoring, automatic alerts, rapid localization, and quick recovery.
12. Network access performance
12.1. When using Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC), users can independently select the required public network egress bandwidth for each BCC Instance. The default configurable range for public network egress bandwidth is 0Mbps to 500Mbps. For higher bandwidth, submit a ticket to request a quota.
12.2. Baidu AI Cloud supports BGP multi-line access and makes reasonable commercial efforts to ensure users' network access quality.
13. Service billing accuracy
13.1. Baidu AI Cloud BCC services feature an accurate and transparent measurement and billing system. Baidu AI Cloud performs real-time deductions based on user subscriptions and actual usage.
13.2. Billing of Baidu AI Cloud BCC follows the effective billing models and rates released on Baidu AI Cloud's official website.
13.3. User's original billing logs are retained for at least 3 years by default for audit purposes.

15. Miscellaneous
You acknowledge and agree that trusted cloud certification is conducted annually. Therefore, Baidu AI Cloud will annually update and adjust its trusted cloud documentation in accordance with certification authority requirements and changes to Baidu AI Cloud products.
