Why should the snapshot function be used?

If cloud disk server data is accidentally deleted, you can use a previously created snapshot to quickly and accurately restore the data to the state of the selected snapshot.

Will BCC be disabled when creating a snapshot?

No, you don't need to disable BCC when creating a snapshot.

Will custom images and snapshots still exist after BCC is released?

  • Custom Images: Once created, custom images will remain available indefinitely unless deleted.
  • When releasing a BCC, the corresponding system disk snapshot will also be deleted. You can decide whether to also delete the corresponding CDS data disk snapshots as needed.

Are snapshots currently billed?

  • Snapshots are currently a billed service, with on-demand payment based on the snapshot chain. For more information on snapshot billing, please refer to Snapshot Charge.
