Instances rarely encounter hardware-level faults during regular use. Baidu AI Cloud recommends thoroughly troubleshooting these issues to ensure instance availability and stability. To support this, the user repair platform provides a standardized Baidu Cloud Compute fault-handling and certified repair solution.
The repair platform offers essential tools to assist users. It allows direct access to fault detection data, repair task handling, and progress confirmation. Additionally, users can perform interactive operations like certification and acceptance for repair tasks.
Features
Free activation
The repair platform is now freely available to all users at no extra cost. Navigate to the Repair Platform via the left navigation menu in the Baidu Cloud Compute console to view all repair-related tasks for your instance and perform actions like certifying repairs.
Comprehensive fault coverage
The repair platform integrates the HAS component to monitor hardware for faults, power usage, resource allocation, and performance across over 70 event types. It offers comprehensive monitoring of components like CPUs, memory, disks, and network cards and automatically begins the repair process upon fault detection.
Flexible policy settings
The repair platform provides flexible repair policies, enabling users to certify repairs for faulty instances or defer them until data backups are completed. It also allows pre-certification, letting users configure flexible pre-certification policies based on instance tags.

Hardware automatic repair
The repair platform automatically identifies instance faults and begins repairs immediately upon fault detection. This automation minimizes delays caused by offline interactions, enhancing operational efficiency.
Minimalist interaction
Users can view detailed information about faulty instances in the console and perform actions such as repair certification or post-repair confirmation. These operations can also be completed via API, enabling convenient and efficient online interaction.
Full-process monitoring
Users can track the progress of fault repairs in real time through the instance status or task status. The certification time and repair completion time of faulty instances are recorded in the repair logs, enabling comprehensive monitoring of the repair process.
Product coverage
The repair task platform currently supports Baidu Cloud Compute and Elastic Baremetal Compute, while other products are not yet supported.
