Change the instance subnet
Updated at:2025-10-20
Change the subnet to which the instance belongs.
- Changing the subnet while the instance is running will trigger a reboot; changing it while the instance is stopped will not trigger a reboot.
- Subnet changes are only supported within the same AZ. You can specify either a standard or enterprise security group for the change.
