FAQs
Why does it show no cloud assistant permission, and how to resolve it?
For improved security, the cloud assistant service has upgraded its permission controls. Users must activate the cloud assistant with relevant permissions and possess at least read-only BCC permissions to execute commands on Baidu Cloud Compute. Please activate the service in the cloud assistant console and ensure the specified permissions have been obtained. If issues persist, contact technical support via a ticket.
Why do some instances in the instance list show BSM-Agent offline status during execution of cloud assistant commands?
The public images provided by Baidu AI Cloud are installed with BSM-Agent. If you create an instance using custom images or marketplace images without BSM-Agent, you will need to install BSM-Agent manually. For installation instructions, please refer to the Install BSM-Agent section in the Operation Orchestration Service (OOS) of Baidu AI Cloud's Documentation Center.
Which instance types does cloud assistant support?
Currently supported instance types include BCC (including EBC) and BBC, with additional types being gradually incorporated.
What are the distinguishes between cloud assistant quick command execution and command creation scenarios?
The cloud assistant's quick command execution feature enables repeated command execution on BCC or BBC instances. Results and the command input box are displayed on the same page for streamlined operations. However, it supports fewer configuration parameters compared to creating commands, and commands executed through this feature are not saved. For advanced parameter configurations and the ability to save commands for future use, navigate to "My Commands" in the cloud assistant console.
Can cloud assistant command execution be canceled?
Cancellations are not allowed for both quick command execution and regular command execution. During quick execution, even closing the execution window will not halt the process; commands will continue executing in the background. Results can be reviewed in the cloud assistant console's historical records.
