Automatic snapshot

An Automatic Snapshot Policy allows you to create snapshots for cloud disk servers at regular intervals. In critical applications, where disk data is both significant and changes frequently, periodic snapshots help ensure data security. Baidu AI Cloud provides an automatic snapshot function designed for such scenarios. By predefining disks and time slots for snapshot creation, the system will handle the snapshot process automatically.

Usage restrictions

  • You can create up to 100 snapshot policies in the same region;
  • The snapshot policy and the Cloud Disk Server (CDS) to be bound must be in the same region;
  • A disk can only be associated with a snapshot policy after it has been attached to an instance, and each disk can only be linked with one snapshot policy.
