Operation steps
Note: Make sure the Baidu Cloud Compute is in the "Running" state before logging in. Login is not possible in the "Stopped" or "Suspended" states.
- Sign in to BCC Console and enter the Instance List page.
-
There are two ways to use VNC to remotely log in to the Baidu Cloud Compute OS.
-
Method 1
In the "Operation" column, select "Remote Login," then choose "Sign in via VNC" to open the VNC window.

-
Method 2
On the "Instance Details" page, click "Remote Login" in the upper-right corner, then select "Sign in via VNC" to open the VNC window.

-
- (Optional) If the VNC window is black, the system is in sleep mode. Press any key to wake it up.
- (Optional) For Windows OS, click the "Send Ctrl+Alt+Del" button to send the Ctrl+Alt+Del command to the system.

- When logging in to an instance via VNC for the first time, you should enter the user name and password of that instance. If you forget the instance password, you can reset it. For details, please refer to [Reset Password](BCC/Operation guide/Instance/Reset password.md).
Description:
- The default username for Linux systems is root, whereas for Windows systems, it is Administrator.
- If the password has been reset, log in using the updated password.
- For security reasons, each VNC remote login URL can be used only once. Reloading the same VNC URL will render the link invalid.
- (Optional) After logging into the OS, you can click a button in the dropdown menu to execute the command highlighted in the red box below.
