1. Download at the Apache official website

2. Open the decompressed file, modify the http.conf service path and port in the conf file.

3. Install the apache

An error occurs is because to have Apache installed, the latest Visual C++Redistributable 2015 shall be available. Its download address: https://www.microsoft.com/zh-CN/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Have Visual C++Redistributable 2015 installed before executing httpd -k install

4. Start the apache

Type net start apache2.4 to start Apache, as shown in the figure:

5. Verification

Access the http://localhost default page

6. You need to upload HTML pages to this place C:\Apache24\htdocs with file information as shown in the figure:

7. Configure a Firewall rule

Windows server enables advanced firewall by default. Once a service is up and running, you need to open a corresponding port or shut down firewall in inbound rules of the firewall.
