Backup repository
Updated at:2025-10-27
The backup center utilizes Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS) to store backup data. This document explains how to set up a backup repository for storing backup data.
Prerequisites
- You have successfully created a Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS) bucket. The bucket name must start with "cce-bos-". For details, please refer to Create a Bucket.
Instructions for use
- CCE clusters in different regions can use the same backup repository to store data. It is recommended to use a BOS bucket in the same region as the cluster to store backup data, as access between different regions is not allowed by default.
- When deleting a repository, the associated backup objects will lose recovery functionality. Please proceed with caution.
- When deleting a repository, the underlying storage resources in the associated BOS bucket will not be deleted. You need to perform the deletion operation in the BOS Console.
Operation steps
- Sign in to Cloud Container Engine Console (CCE).
- In the left navigation bar, select Backup Center - Backup Repository to enter the backup repository management page.
- Click Create Backup Repository and complete the relevant configurations.
