1. Common issues
Cluster
| Error code | Error description | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| MASTER_CREATE_FAILED | Master node creation/deployment failed | 1) If it is a Standalone Deployment cluster, first go to the Node List page (Cluster List -> Click Cluster Name -> Node List) to view the progress display of the failed master node, please refer to this document to resolve the issue based on the failure message, and then delete the cluster and recreate it. 2) For Managed Mode clusters, submit a ticket directly. Select Container Engine CCE as the product category. Refer to the end of the document for required ticket information. |
| MASTER_DELETE_FAILED | Master node deletion failed | 1) If it is a Standalone Deployment cluster, first go to the Node List page (Cluster List -> Click Cluster Name -> Node List) to view the progress display of the failed master node, please refer to this document to resolve the issue based on the failure message, and then delete the cluster again. 2) For Managed Mode clusters, submit a ticket directly. Select Container Engine CCE as the product category. Refer to the end of the document for required ticket information. |
| NODE_DELETE_FAILED | Worker node deletion failed | Go to the Node List page to view the progress of failed worker nodes. Refer to this document based on the failure message to resolve the issue, then delete the cluster again. |
| ACCOUNT_INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE | Insufficient account balance | Please add funds (with a balance of at least RMB 100), clean up the failed resources, and recreate them. |
| FACE_AUTHENTICATION_NEEDED | Advanced facial certification not performed | Download the Baidu AI Cloud APP, complete face verification under "My - Real-Name Certification," and retry. |
| UNDEFINED_ERROR | Undefined error | Submit a ticket directly. Select Container Engine CCE as the product category. Refer to the end of the document for required ticket information. |
Node
| Error code | Error description | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| BCC_INSUFFICIENT | The virtual machine creation is successfully initiated but failed, most likely because that the corresponding type and configuration of virtual machine resources are unavailable in this region and availability zone | 1) Delete failed nodes and recreate them by changing the availability zone or machine configuration. 2) Submit a ticket for resolution. For the product category, select: Baidu Cloud Compute BCC. Refer to the end of the document for the required information to be provided in the ticket. In the Problem Description field, enter: Machine creation failed. |
| INSTANCE_NO_STOCK | The specified machines in the availability zone are out of stock | 1) Delete failed nodes and recreate them by changing the availability zone or machine configuration. 2) Submit a ticket for resolution. For the product related to the issue, select: Cloud Server BCC. Refer to the end of the document for the required information to be provided in the ticket. In the Problem Description field, enter: Specified instance is out of stock (Do list the specified machine instance type and configuration details) |
| INSTANCE_QUOTA_EXCEEDED | The machine count under the user account has reached the quota limit | Submit a ticket to increase the quota. For the product category, select: Baidu Cloud Server BCC. Refer to the end of the document for the required information to be provided in the ticket. In the Problem Description field, enter: Increase Instance Quota (you may specify a desired value). |
| HOSTNAME_DUPLICATE_IN_VPC | Duplicate hostnames detected within the same VPC | The instance hostname is automatically generated based on the user-defined instance name following specific rules (e.g., converting the instance name to lowercase). You can create a new instance with a different name or leave it blank for a randomly generated one. |
| NODE_SSH_TIMEOUT | Node SSH login timeout | Submit a ticket directly. Select Container Engine CCE as the product category. Refer to the end of the document for required ticket information. |
| PREPAID_BCC_CANNOT_DELETED | Prepay machines cannot be deleted | 1) For errors occurring after cluster deletion, first Remove failed nodes from the cluster on the Node List page before deleting the cluster. 2) If the error occurs after node deletion, directly Remove the failed node from the cluster on the Node List page. |
| ACCOUNT_INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE | Insufficient account balance | Please add funds (with a balance of at least RMB 100), clean up the failed resources, and recreate them. |
| INSUFFICIENT_IP_IN_SUBNET | Insufficient subnet IPs | Clean up any failed resources and recreate them using a different subnet. |
| VOLUME_NOT_AVAILABLE_IN_ZONE | Insufficient CDS resources specified in the availability zone | 1) Clean up failed resources, switch to a different availability zone or CDS type, and recreate it. 2) If CDS is not a strict requirement, clean up the failed resources and recreate it without selecting CDS. 3) Submit a ticket for resolution. For the product category, select: Baidu Cloud Server BCC. Refer to the end of the document for the required information to be provided in the ticket. In the Problem Description field, enter: Machine creation failed, Volume.ZoneResourceNotAvailable. |
| EIP_BY_TRAFFIC_BANDWIDTH_QUOTA_EXCEEDED | The total bandwidth of pay-as-you-go EIPs has reached the account quota | 1) Clean up unused pay-as-you-go EIPs under the account. Release the occupied bandwidth quota. And then delete the failed node and recreate it. 2) Submit a ticket to increase the total bandwidth quota for pay-as-you-go EIPs. For the product category, select: Elastic IP (EIP). Refer to the end of the document for the required information to be provided in the ticket. In the Problem Description field, enter: Increase the total bandwidth quota for pay-as-you-go EIPs. |
| DELETE_INSTANCE_WITH_USER_CUSTOM_ROUTE | The node to be deleted has user-defined routes | In the Baidu AI Cloud console, go to "Virtual Private Cloud -> Route Table," find the route associated with the node, confirm it's unused, delete it, and then retry deleting the node. |
| K8S_NODE_NOT_READY | Deployment completed, but K8S Node NotReady | Use kubectl describe node to check specific failure reasons, or journalctl -u kubelet to view detailed logs. |
| UNDEFINED_ERROR | Undefined error | Submit a ticket directly. Select Container Engine CCE as the product category. Refer to the end of the document for required ticket information. |
