BOS allows you to assign multiple domain names to a created bucket for publishing stored data.
Domain name types and application scenarios
Currently, BOS supports the official bucket domain name, custom domain name, and official CDN domain name. Each type of domain name serves distinct use cases, allowing configuration and usage based on specific requirements.

Official domain name of the bucket
When you create a bucket, BOS will automatically generate an official domain name for the bucket.
BOS supports adding a custom domain name to the bucket. After binding the custom domain name to the bucket, you can use this custom domain name to publish the data in the bucket. You can directly access the bound bucket using the custom domain name.
For the custom domain name to work, you must complete the CNAME resolution in the DNS management console of your domain registrar. The domain name can only be used to access the bucket after the resolution takes effect.
Official CDN Acceleration Domain Name
BOS currently supports binding CDN acceleration domain name to bucket. After binding, you can leverage Baidu AI Cloud's CDN global edge nodes to accelerate the downlink distribution of contents in BOS. After binding the CDN domain name for a bucket, the DNS resolution of bucket domain name will be automatically modified to CNAME domain name provided by CDN, thus accessing CDN node to initiate CDN. CDN official acceleration is applicable to downlink acceleration of files in edge scenarios.
Baidu AI Cloud BOS and CDN provide cache management capabilities. When you enable both Baidu AI Cloud BOS and CDN and assign BOS as the origin server for CDN service, intelligent cache management operations can be performed.
BOS supports the CDN uplink acceleration function to meet users' needs for acceleration in uplink scenarios when using BOS. The uplink acceleration function should be activated separately, and its uplink domain name is the same as the official CDN acceleration domain name.
