Resource Package Overview

Overview

BOS supports the purchase of resource packages in subscription (pre-payment) form. After purchasing the resource package, your BOS consumption will first be deducted from the resource package, and the excess part will be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can directly purchase resource packages in the "BOS->Global Overview->Resource Package Purchase" tab of the Baidu AI Cloud Management Console. When purchasing, follow the prompts to select the package classify type, region, specification, purchase period and effective time.

Resource package type

Currently, BOS offers 9 types of resource packages:

• Standard storage package: Used to offset capacity generated when using object storage. It only applies to capacity fees generated by the standard storage class and can not be applied to standard storage - multi-AZ or other charge items;
• Infrequent access storage package: Used to offset capacity generated when using object storage. It only applies to capacity fees generated by the infrequent access storage class and can not be applied to infrequent access storage - multi-AZ or other charge items;
• Cold storage package: Used to offset capacity generated when using object storage. It only applies to capacity fees generated by the cold storage class and can not be applied to cold storage or other charge items;
• Archive storage package: Used to offset capacity generated when using object storage. It only applies to capacity fees generated by the archive storage class and can not be applied to other charge items;
• Internet downlink traffic package: Used to offset Internet egress traffic. It only applies to Internet downlink traffic fees generated by all storage types and can not be applied to other charge items;
• Back-to-origin traffic package: Used to offset back-to-origin traffic generated when accessing BOS resources through CDN accelerated domain name, regardless of storage class.
• Basic image processing package: Used to offset usage fees for basic image processing such as image cropping, rotation, scaling and watermarking. It can not be applied to advanced compression, intelligent processing or other charge items.
• Advanced image compression package: Used to offset usage fees for advanced compression of images in HEIC and WebP-M6 formats. It can not be applied to other image processing types or other charge items.
• Intelligent image processing package: Used to offset usage fees for intelligent image processing. It can not be applied to other image processing types or other charge items.

Resource package purchase description

(1) Resource packages are prepaid and require a one-time payment of the full amount;

(2) Resource packages cannot be converted after purchase. For example, a standard storage resource package cannot be changed to an infrequent access storage package. Please confirm the type of storage or traffic you require before finalizing your purchase.
