Official default domain names and accelerated domain names do not support downloads of APK or IPA file types

To ensure the security and stability of Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS), the following changes will take effect on November 25, 2024, 00:00:00 Beijing Time. Please carefully review the adjustment details and update your application settings accordingly to maintain business continuity.

From the stated date, requests to newly created buckets attempting to access APK and IPA files via BOS’s default official access address (e.g., bucketname.bj.bcebos.com) using URL signature verification or anonymous access will be denied, returning the error code DownloadForbidden with an HTTP status code of 400.

For all buckets, if the official CDN-accelerated transmission feature is enabled after the stated date, attempts to access APK and IPA files via the accelerated domain name (e.g., bucketname.cdn.bcebos.com) will face the same restrictions, with the error code DownloadForbidden.

To download APK or IPA files from a bucket, use a custom domain name. For detailed steps on binding custom domain names, please refer to https://cloud.baidu.com/doc/BOS/s/ckaqihkra.

BOS Bucket Domain Name Request Style Update

To enhance service security and stability, starting June 1, 2024, Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS) will modify the request style for official domain names. Newly created buckets will not support path-style requests and will default to virtual-hosted-style requests.

For buckets created before June 1, 2024, the path-style request style will continue to be supported when using the official domain name. For existing buckets using path-style request style, switching to virtual-hosted request style is recommended. For questions during the transition, please refer to the Developer Guide.
