Data Retention Compliance
BOS supports write once read many (WORM), allowing you to store data in a manner that is "undeletable and unmodifiable," thereby enhancing data security and meeting compliance storage requirements.
BOS offers strong compliance policies, enabling time-based compliance retention settings for buckets. Once the policy is locked, users can upload and read objects but cannot delete or modify the objects or the policy until the retention period expires. Deletion or modification is only possible after the retention period ends. The WORM feature in BOS is ideal for industries such as finance, insurance, securities, and healthcare, ensuring both data security and compliance.
