Minimum storage period
|
Infrequent access storage - multi-AZ - minimum storage period fees
|
Files stored in the "Infrequent Access Storage - Multi-AZ" class have a minimum storage duration of 30 days. If a file is deleted or overwritten before meeting this 30-day period, a minimum storage period fee will be charged. BOS will calculate and charge the remaining costs for the unfulfilled time all at once. For example, if you delete a file stored in "Infrequent Access Storage - Multi-AZ" 50 hours after upload, the fee is calculated as follows: (Infrequent Access Storage Multi-AZ monthly unit price ÷ 30 ÷ 24) × RMB (30 × 24 - 50).
BOS calculates the remaining storage time for files in the "Infrequent Access Storage - Multi-AZ" class in hourly increments. On the bill, this fee is presented in units of "Bytes × Hour," which the system automatically rounds up to "GB × Hour," "TB × Hour," or "PB × Hour." Fees for remaining durations under one hour are waived.
When files of varying sizes with different remaining times are deleted or overwritten simultaneously, the bill reflects this as a combined summary by summing up the "Capacity × Hours" for all the files. For instance, deleting a 1GB file with 30 hours remaining, along with a 2GB file with 40 hours remaining, will result in an aggregate charge of: 1 × 30 + 2 × 40 = 110 GB × Hour.

Cold storage - minimum storage period fees

Files stored in the "Cold Storage" class have a minimum storage duration of 60 days. Deleting or overwriting a file before completing this 60-day period will result in a minimum storage period fee. BOS calculates and charges the remaining costs for the unfulfilled time all at once. For example, if you delete a file stored in the "Cold Storage" class 50 hours after upload, the fee is calculated as follows: (Cold Storage monthly unit price ÷ 30 ÷ 24) × RMB (60 × 24 - 50).
BOS calculates the remaining storage time for files in the "Cold Storage" class in hourly increments. On the bill, this fee is presented in units of "Bytes × Hour," which the system automatically rounds up to "GB × Hour," "TB × Hour," or "PB × Hour." Archive storage - minimum storage period fees
|
Files stored in the "Archive Storage" class have a minimum storage duration of 180 days. Deleting or overwriting a file before meeting this 180-day requirement will result in a minimum storage period fee. BOS calculates and charges the remaining costs for the unfulfilled time in a single payment. For example, if you delete a file stored in the "Archive Storage" class after 3 days, the fee is calculated as follows: (Archive Storage monthly unit price ÷ 30) × RMB (180 - 3).
BOS calculates the remaining storage time for files in the "Archive Storage" class in daily increments. On the bill, this fee is presented in units of "Bytes × Day," which the system automatically rounds up to "GB × Day," "TB × Day," or "PB × Day." Fees for remaining durations under one day are waived.
As multiple files of different sizes may be deleted or overwritten simultaneously with varying remaining times, the bill aggregates this by summing up the "capacity * days" of all files. For instance, if a customer deletes two files—one 1GB file with 30 remaining days and one 2GB file with 40 remaining days—the minimum storage period fees are calculated as 1 GB * 30 days and 2 GB * 40 days respectively. The bill displays the total as 1 * 30 + 2 * 40 = 110 GB * days.
