Flexible data management

Create, view and delete bucket:
- Users can customize the number of buckets to be created and modify quotas according to needs;
- Users can modify and view bucket access permissions as needed.

Upload, view and delete object:
- There is no limit to the number of objects that users can store;
- Objects support any type of data such as text, multimedia, and binary;
- Each object can contain data ranging from 0 bytes to 48.8 TB;
- Users can define resource attributes using both general and custom metadata mechanisms.
Upload large file in parts
- For ultra-large files exceeding 5 GB, users can use the Multipart Upload Mechanism; for files exceeding 100 KB but not exceeding 5 GB, users can choose whether to use multipart upload.
- Users can divide a very large file into smaller parts (called sub-objects or Parts) and upload them individually. Once the upload is complete, BOS automatically validates the data and merges the sub-objects into a single object to finalize the multipart upload.
- Each Part must be no larger than 5 GB, and except for the last Part, the size of each must exceed 100 KB.
- This functionality performs exceptionally well in scenarios with unstable networks or when the file size cannot be determined prior to upload.
Industry-leading hierarchical storage
- BOS provides industry-leading Multi-Level Hierarchical Storage. Users can choose standard storage as the main storage method, or select lower-cost, longer-term storage options such as infrequent access storage, cold storage, and archive storage according to different access frequencies.
- BOS supports Lifecycle Management. Users can configure lifecycle rules to automatically convert expired data to the corresponding type without manual operation.
