Scale up a Cluster

The users can scale up the cluster according to their services requirements.

Note:

The nodes added by the scaling up of clusters are postpaid nodes; A maximum of 20 nodes can be added to each cluster;

Operation steps

1.Log in to the management console of cloud platform to enter "Product Service > Cloud Container Engine (CCE)". Click the "Cluster Management > Cluster List" to enter the page of cluster list.

2.Select the cluster to be scaled up, and click "Add Node" in the operation bar.

3.Set the specification for the new node in the new page.

4.Confirm the selected configuration information and configuration fees, and then click "Pay". Add the new node after payment.

Note:

In the page of "Scale up a Cluster", the cluster name, comment information, region, and container network have been locked and may not be filled in; The private network of scaling-up nodes is fixed, and consistent with the definition when the cluster is created. The node subnet can be selected;

Delete Cluster

There are two methods to delete a cluster.

The first:

• In the page of cluster list, select the ID/node name in one cluster and the node to be deleted.

• Fill in the SMS verification code, and click "Confirm".

  

The second:

• Click the cluster name to be deleted to enter the page of the basic information of cluster.

• Click the "Delete" button at the top right corner, enter the verification code in the pop-up window, and click "Confirm".

  

Note:

After the cluster to be deleted is selected, the postpaid instances are immediately released, and the prepaid instances are automatically unbound from the cluster.

View the Node Information

Click the ID/name of the cluster in the cluster list, and select the node list to view the specific information of the node.

Log in to the Node

The current node supports cloud platform server BCC. For the log-in method, please refer to Use of VNC to Remotely Log in to Cloud Server.

Node Operation

You can select a node, and then click More Operations button to modify the name. For details, please refer to Reset Password, Associated Security Group, Create Snapshot, Create Custom Image.

Click the node name to enter the details page of instance. For the specific operations, please refer to Instance Operation of BCC.
