          Note:

          • If a prompt "Upload Failed" shows during the uploading of the file, it may be a connection timeout caused by the fact that you have not operated since you logged into the BOS desktop. At this point, you need to shut down the BOS desktop to restart and log in, and then upload the file again from the upload list.

          Once the file is deleted from BOS desktop, the file is completely deleted from the BOS server. Please be cautious for use.

          New Folder

          Click "New Folder" to create a directory for the bucket. Upon successful creation, you can upload and download the files in the new folder as well as conduct other management operations.

          Automatic Upload of Local File

          BOS desktop supports automatic upload of local files. When you set synchronized disk in BOS desktop, the files in the selected local directory are synchronized to the bucket of BOS in real time. When a new file is added to the local directory, the file list in BOS bucket is also synchronized automatically for update.

          Note:

          • The user needs to select a local folder and a cloud folder, and establishes a mapping relationship between these two folders after confirmation;
          • The BOS file directory allows you to select a bucket or a folder in the bucket; the local folder can only select local folder. Neither can select a single file;
          • BOS limits the number of mapping relation to a maximum of 20 for the same account at the same time.

          For different situations, the BOS desktop performs different operations:

          • A file that exists in a local directory but does not exist in the bucket with mapping relation is automatically uploaded to the bucket synchronously.
          • If a file exists in a local directory and in the BOS bucket with mapping relation, but the file is changed in local directory, it is overridden and uploaded to the bucket.
          • If a file exists in a local directory and in the BOS bucket with mapping relation, but the file is deleted from the local directory, the file is saved in the specified bucket of BOS continuously, and BOS will not delete such file synchronously.
          • If a file exists in the bucket but does not exist in the local directory with mapping relation, the file is not automatically synchronized to the local directory. If you want to save this file in local directory, please download the file from the bucket.

          Note:

          • The files with the same name but different contents from a local directory are uploaded to the bucket by overriding. If you do not want to upload the file by overriding, please distinguish the file name.
