Product Introductions
The Offline Migration Box is a physical delivery cloudification tool launched by BOS, which can realize the migration cloudification of the local IDC data.
The Offline Migration Box is applicable for the transmission and migration of 100 TB data cloudification. Also, it uses the specific storage device to transmit a large amount of data between Baidu AI Cloud and the client. It solves the problems such as high network cost, long transmission time and security during large-scale data transmission. It features the simplicity, high speed, security and low cost.
The Offline Migration box is provided with a mobile storage device by BOS, which features the large capacity, visual operation and military level protection encryption. The nominal capacity of a single Offline Migration box is 96 TB, and the actual available capacity is about 83 TB per device. It is applicable for the migration scenario of 100 TB local IDC data cloudification.
Application Scenarios
- Your network environment is poor (narrow bandwidth and unstable network), and the bandwidth cost is very expensive.
- You want to complete the data cloudification as soon as possible, but the cost of the ET mode is too expensive.
- You have no hard disk or removable data storage and transmission devices.

Characteristics
- High transmission efficiency: It supports 10 GbE optical interface and has the maximum of 10 MB/s data throughput. A single device can migrate dozens of TB data cloudification in a few days.
- Secure encryption: The AES256 encryption is adopted during the whole data transmission. The data cannot be decrypted for reading even if the device is lost or stolen.
- Stability and reliability: The military grade seismic and falling protection is adopted for the outer layer. It can protect the internal disk from damage when it falls from a height of several meters. The RAID5 array is deployed on the built-in page to further improve the data reliability.
- Simple and easy to use: It provides a graphical user interface, which can be directly operated by the non-IT personnel, just as simple as copy of a USB flash disk.
