Overview

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a way to leverage the rules of search engines to improve the natural ranking of websites in relevant search engines. It aims to provide an ecological self-marketing solution for the website, so that it occupies a leading position in the industry and gains the brand benefit.

• Enable the automatic search engine back-to-origin

  After the user's domain name is connected to the CDN, the weight of the domain name search results is affected due to the frequent change in the CDN IP. The user can select to enable the automatic back-to-origin feature of the search engine to send the request from the search engine directly to the origin server, ensuring the stability of the search engine weight.

• Data and Baidu Search link

  CDN can perform the SEO related optimization, provide the data interface to Baidu Search, give the access log data of CDN customers to the search department real time, accomplish the page hotspot analysis, and help customers to deal with the crawler.

Considerations

The origin server address must be in the form of domain name to take effect.

SEO Configuration

1. Login CDN Management Console，Select Domain Name Management in the left navibar on the console.
2. Select the domain name to set the HTTP header on the Domain Name Management page,and click Management in the action bar on the rightmost as shown in the figure below.

3. Click Advanced Configuration on the Domain Name Details page as shown in the figure below.

4. Select the SEO Configuration feature in the Advanced Configuration tab, and set the button corresponding to the feature to the ON status.

Note: When the default origin address for the search engine to enable the automatic back-to-origin is the first origin server added, other requests normally access the CDN node.
