Baidu AI Cloud supports upgrade of prepaid service and upgrade and downgrade of postpaid service. You can adjust the resources flexibly according to your demand during use.

Upgrade of Prepaid Service

For prepaid service, please upgrade the service 24 hours before the service expires. The amount payable = (price of new configuration - price of original configuration) × (remaining contract days/total contract days).

• Take the monthly package service of Baidu AI Cloud service (BCC) as an example:

  If you activate the monthly service (1 core CPU + 1GB memory) of Baidu AI Cloud service BCC at 10:00 on January 10, 2016, and pay 45 CNY for one month and upgrade the configuration to 2 core CPU + 2GB memory (138 CNY/month) on January 13, 2016 at 11:00, the amount payable = 138 CNY × (28 days÷31 days) - 45 CNY × (28 days÷31 days) = 84 CNY.

Upgrade of Postpaid Service

After upgrade of postpaid service, it will take effect immediately within one minute and will be charged based on the new configuration.

• Take the on-demand service of Baidu AI Cloud service (BCC) as an example:

  If you activate the on-demand service (1 core CPU + 1GB memory) of Baidu AI Cloud service BCC at 10:00 on January 10, 2016 and upgrade it to 2 core CPU + 2GB memory on January 10, 2016 at 10:30, the new configuration takes effect immediately at 10:31.It will be charged at 11:00 on January 10, and the amount payable = 30 minutes × 0.0044 CNY/minute + 30 minutes × 0.0088 CNY/minute = 0.397 CNY.

Downgrade of Postpaid Service

After downgrade of postpaid service, it will take effect immediately within one minute and will be charged based on the new configuration.

• Take the on-demand service of Baidu AI Cloud service (BCC) as an example:

  If you activate the on-demand service (2 cores CPU + 2GB memory) of Baidu AI Cloud service BCC at 10:10 on January 10, 2016 and downgrade it to 1 core CPU + 1GB memory on January 10, 2016 at 10:30, the new configuration takes effect immediately at 10:31.It will be charged at 11:00 on January 10, and the amount payable = 30 minutes × 0.0088 CNY/minute + 30 minutes × 0.0044 CNY/minute = 0.397 CNY.
