Baidu AI Cloud provides a more flexible monthly billing method - bill-by-95 bandwidth peak for users with a monthly consumption amount of more than 50,000. Users in need can contact Baidu AI Cloud Business to negotiate. Please submit a Ticket in case of any question.

Billing Rules

• Billing items: 95 peak bandwidth
• Payment Method: Postpaid
• Billing rules: Take account as the dimension, bill based on the 95% peak bandwidth differential price, and have excess progressive accumulation for domestic and overseas fees in the current month respectively. A natural month is a cumulative period.
• Billing cycle: Bill by the natural month
• Valid days: For users changing to 95 billing within the billing cycle, the effective days are the days from the date on which 95 billing takes effect to the end of the month (for example, when the effective date of 95 billing is January 6, 2019, the effective days of bill for January 2019 are 26)
• Effective factor: Take the number of days in a natural month as the denominator and the number of days of effective use in this natural month as the molecule to compute and get decimals (assuming that the effective days for the account period of January 2019 is 26 days, then the effective factor is 26 / 31 = 0.83870968)
• Final costs: Cost ∗ effectiveness factor got according to the above billing rules

Computing Mode

95 bandwidth peak billing is settled per natural month. Within a natural month, take valid bandwidth values every 5 minutes by account and arranged them in descending order. Remove the top 5% bandwidth values, and the maximum bandwidth in the remaining is the billing value of the monthly 95 bandwidth peak.

Assume there are 31 days in a month, and all are valid value points. There is one bandwidth value point every 5 minutes, 288 value points per day, and the total number of value points per month is 288 x 31 = 8928; arrange the points in descending order of bandwidth value, remove the first 5% of points (8928 x 5% = 446.4), round up, remove the first 446 points, that is, the 447th point is the 95 peak bandwidth billing point of the month.

Note

• Time for charging-off: Charge off and make settlement at 00:00 on the 1st day of the next calendar month after the end of the billing cycle. For example: On March 1st, it generates a monthly 95 bandwidth peak bill for the full month of February (2019-02-01 00:00:00 to 2019-02-28 23:59:59).
• Settlement time: The bill is automatically deducted from the account balance to settle the bill after the bill is generated on day1 each month. Please ensure that there is sufficient balance in the account during the charge off and settlement to avoid arrears. Note, the consumption amount of 95 bandwidth of the month can be estimated by checking the 95 bandwidth peak value of current month.
• Description of the time when the billing method switch takes effect: Change from “traffic” or “bandwidth” to “monthly settled 95 bandwidth” charging type, which takes effect from 0:00 the next day.
• 0 traffic bandwidth points are filtered and not counted as valid points.
