Overview

CDN Pornography Identification is based on Baidu's cloud computing platform. It can quickly scan massive data to detect whether the CDN-accelerated images are pornographic, which can help users save more than 90% of manual review costs. For your convenience in use, CDN provides you with an interface-based image review console, where you can view pornographic images reviewed by CDN and perform the manual review as required.

Pornographic Image Criteria

• Suspected pornographic images: The pornographic images are identified through the machine learning training model. If the probability of being a pornographic image is greater than 90%, the image is labeled as a suspected pornographic image.
• Pornographic images: The model trained by machine learning is used to identify pornographic images. If there is a probability of more than 99% that the picture is pornographic, it is marked as a pornographic picture.

Review Service Usage

Pornography Identification Overview

1. Log in to CDN Management Console, select the Pornography identification in the left navbar of the console to enter the overview page,
2. You can view the number of pornographic images determined by the system on the current day, the number of suspected pornographic images determined by the system on the current day, and the top 5 illegal domain names in the current month on this page.

Pornography Identification Rule Setting

1. Select the detection domain name, which supports Select all, Search domain name and Cancel domain name.

2. After you click Set Rules, a prompt pops up, indicating “The setting is successful!”. It takes effect 5 minutes after configuration. If you change the configuration, the billing takes effect the next day.

3. The upper limit for the daily test should be an integer greater than 0, and the sampling rate should be an integer within the range of 0-100.

Pornography Identification Trend Analysis

You can select a time to view the identification trend of pornographic images and suspected pornographic images in any period within the last three months or click the “Download” button on the right to download the pornographic images form corresponding to all time points.

Illegal Image Query

You can query the illegal images by selecting the domain name, period, and annotation results. The query results are displayed visually in the form o images.

• For suspected pornographic images, the user can hover the mouse over the image and choose to perform manual judgment processing. You can select all images on this page and mark them in batches.
• For pornographic images, the system can take corresponding blocking measures based on intelligent algorithms.

Appeal for Handling After Being Blocked

After Baidu AI Cloud CDN blocks pornographic images, it notifies users of them in the form of text messages, emails, and in-site messages.

If the judgment result does not meet your expectations, you can hover your mouse over the corresponding picture and click Appeal to submit a ticket. The image you make the unblocking application is manually reviewed. If passed in the review, the image is unblocked and classified as a normal one. If not passed in the review, the image is still classified as a pornographic image, and the status changes to Appeal Rejected. The appeal period is 2-3 days.

• The pornography identification feature of Baidu AI Cloud CDN is currently in the free open beta test. You can save records for related pornographic images in your account which are detected in the past 30 days.
• Here, the normal image record comes from the manual judgment of suspected images and the appeal for successful unblocking of pornographic images. But, such images do not include all normal filtered images.
