Open Object Storage

1.Register and log in to Baidu AI Cloud Platform. Please refer to Resister and Log-in.

2.If Identity verification is not performed, you are required to click "Security Authentication" of the user name in the upper right corner of the console to enter the authentication page and click "Identity verification". Please select "Enterprise Authentication" or "Personal Authentication" according to the actual situation.

3.Select "Product Services > object Storage BOS", enter the "Open Object Storage BOS" page, and click "Open Immediately".

After BOS is enabled, you can create a storage Bucket and upload files if your account balance is not in arrears. Only after you upload files, will BOS incur corresponding costs.

Note:

• Identity verification is required for opening BOS, and only one authentication is required for each account.
• In case of using BOS for the first time, it is necessary to open the BOS service.
• BOS supports two payment forms: post payment in the form of on-demand billing and prepayment in the form of storage package.

Console Overview

The management of BOS console based on bucket integrates data transmission, data storage, data processing and data distribution.

• BOS supports console, SDK, API, tool and other forms of data transmission. Please refer to the "Data Transmission Mode" page of "Documents and Tools" in the navigation of BOS console for data transmission mode.
• Data management includes object management and Part management. The basic unit of data storage is object. When a single object file is too large, block management is required.
• BOS supports for three data processing methods, like photo processing, video-audio data processing and big data select scanning. The photo processing supports such basic photo processing operations as photo zoom, rotation and watermark, etc. as well as AI-related image processing services like photo review, image recognition and OCR (optical character recognition), etc. For the video-audio processing, the source video-audio files in BOS can be transcoded for free by enabling MCT products directly. The big data select scanning can be used to retrieve the contents of the files of CSV and JSON format under the big data scenarios, without requiring you to download the files locally before retrieving them.
• The data distribution is to release the data stored in BOS to external network, and users can release them by official domain name or customized domain name. You can also enable CDN acceleration as required, and use the CDN nodes of Baidu AI Cloud throughout the world to accelerate the transmission speed of the files in the downlink scenarios. In addition, you can also enable CDN uplink acceleration service for Bucket to meet the need for accelerated uploading of files in uplink scenarios.
• In addition, you can also set the access privilege, cross-domain access CORS, Referer whitelist, IP whitelist and others of Bucket on the page of "Bucket Setup", and view the read-write amount and traffic information of Bucket on the page of "Monitoring Information".
