Register Baidu AI Cloud Account

The individual users and enterprise users need to register a Baidu AI Cloud account. BOS can only be used after the successful registration of the account. If you have completed the account registration, log in to Baidu AI Cloud Official Website. Click "Free Register" at the top right of the page to complete the account registration. For registration steps, see Registered Account Description.

Identity Verification

After you register a Baidu AI Cloud account, you need to complete the unified identity verification. However, due to product characteristics and risk control policy requirements, you need to complete the advanced identity verification for some products (such as BOS) before you further use BOS.

Complete the unified primary identity verification

Users must pass the identity verification before enabling the BOS service. Otherwise, the BOS service fails to enable. Each account only needs to be verified once. Users can select the individual verification or enterprise verification according to the situation.

After the user logs in to the account successfully, click "Security Verification" of the user name in the upper right corner of the console to enter the verification page, and then click "Identity Verification". You can perform the “Enterprise authentication” or “Personal authentication” according to your requirements. After the successful verification, you can use the Baidu AI Cloud products. Under the latest risk control policy requirements, you need to complete the Baidu AI Cloud identity verification before using BOS.

Complete the advanced identity verification

Under the risk control requirements, the BOS users need to complete Baidu AI Cloud identity verification since April 19, 2021. The identity verification covers individual users and enterprise users.

• Users who enable the BOS service after April 19, 2021, can use the BOS service on the completion of Baidu AI Cloud identity verification. Please complete the advanced identity verification when you enable the service on the BOS console.

  • Advanced identity verification of individual users: Users need to download the Baidu AI Cloud APP, log in to the Baidu AI Cloud console, and then enter "Individual Verification” -> “Identity Verification” on top of My Page to complete the verification operation.   • Advanced identity verification of enterprise users: Log in to the Baidu AI Cloud console, click the image in the upper right corner to enter "User Center” -> “Identity Verification Module”, and then click the “Add Advanced Identity Verification” button for advanced identity verification of enterprise. • The users (individual and enterprise users) who enabled the BOS service before April 19, 2021, need to complete the advanced identity verification as soon as possible. Before verification, your BOS service is available normally. Expense Description

• Billing items: The BOS service covers storage cost, traffic cost, request times cost, and data processing cost. For the billing logic of billing items, please see Billing Items.
• Billing mode: You can select two billing modes, i.e., On-demand billing and Resource package billing. For the on-demand billing, BOS implements the bill-by-minute real time (bill by 1 minute if it is less than 1 minute) and issues the bill-by-hour for you on the Baidu AI Cloud - Finance console. Another billing mode (resource package billing) is the prepaid purchase form. After you purchase the resource package, the usage fee incurred for you is deducted through the resource package, and the excess part is paid by traffic.
