Basic Introduction

At present, Baidu AI Cloud supports data statistics and monitoring of bucket on BOS. BOS supports statistical analysis based on the data in each bucket, and from the dimensions such as resource usage, access, user behavior, and hotspot information, and presents the results in the form of graphics or reports. Statistical analysis reports allow users to understand the use of resources and business characteristics, and make it easier for users to do business analysis.

Operation Method

You can view the statistical analysis of bucket data through the console.

1.Log in to the MMC and enter "Product > Cloud Base > Baidu object Storage BOS". 2.Click the bucket to be tagged in the global overview page and enter the bucket management page. 3.Switch to "statistical analysis" column and view the statistics and monitoring of bucket data.

Resource Usage Analysis

Resource Usage Analysis provides the statistics of resource usage in the bucket, and supports query and display of storage space, outbound traffic, read and write requests, and data retrievals at different time periods and different granularities.

  • The storage space is displayed through four storage modes: standard storage, low frequency storage, cold storage and archive access.
  • Outbound traffic includes external network read traffic, back-to-source traffic, and cross-region replication traffic.
  • The read and write requests are displayed as read request and write request by the classification of standard storage, low frequency storage, cold storage and archive access.
  • Since data retrievals involves only in low frequency storage, cold storage and archive access, Data Retrieval only display the statistical data retrieved from low frequency storage, cold storage and archive access.

Access Analysis

BOS access analysis function: Based on the bucket selected by the user, it counts the HTTP access behavior within the specified time range and the HTTP Code returned by the system.

  • HTTP access includes access requests such as GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, and HEAD. The access analysis chart will show the total number of requests PV, the number of visitors UV, and the total amount of outbound data for the above types of requests.

  • The access analysis chart will also show the HTTP Code returned by the system, including the statistics of 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, and 5XX series return codes such as 200, 300, 403, 408, and 503.

User Behavior Analysis

BOS user behavior analysis function: Based on the bucket selected by the user, it counts outflow of traffic through major operators within a specified time range.

  • BOS can accurately count the total outbound traffic, the proportion compared to the total traffic, the number of requests PV, and the proportion compared to the total requests by operator dimensions.
  • BOS can accurately count the number of bucket visitors, the number of visits, and the total amount of outbound data in a certain period of time.
  • BOS can accurately count data outflow in bucket by region dimensions, including the total outflow of each region, the proportion compared to the total traffic, the number of requests PV in each region, and the proportion compared to the total requests.

Hotspot Analysis

BOS can count and sort each object, IP, and Refer based on dimensions such as the number of requests, total outflow, and incorrect access, allowing users to quickly locate hotspot information.
