          Statistics and Monitoring

          Overview

BOS statistical analysis is monitoring and analyzing from the dimensions of resource usage, API statistical information, user behavior, and hotspot information, primarily based on the data in each Bucket, and presents in the form of graphs or reports. Statistical analysis reports allow users to understand the use of resources and business characteristics, and make it easier for users to do business analysis.

Statistical analysis consists of four modules, which can view information in dimensions such as resource usage, API statistics, user behavior, and hotspot information. For information about monitoring items, you can view Overview of monitoring items.

          Resource Usage Analysis

          1. Log in BOS Management Console to enter the overview page.
          2. Select Target Bucket from the navigation bar on the left of BOS console and click to open the Bucket files list page.
          3. Click the Statistics -> Resource usage tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page to enter the resource usage analysis page.

          1. You can view Bucket's resource usage statistics on the resource usage analysis page. You can view Storage, Use traffic, and Number of requests at different time periods and granularities.

            • Storage displays capacity data of four storage types: standard storage, infrequent storage, cold storage and archive storage;
            • Use traffic displays external network reads, forward-to-origin traffic, and cross-region replication traffic data; at the same time, it displays the total number of external network read data per second, the total number of external network write data per second, the total number of private network read data per second, and the total number of private network write data per second
            • Number of requests displays the number of requests according to the read requests and write requests of standard storage, infrequent storage, cold storage and archive storage; at the same time, it can view the total number of delete requests per second, the total number of read requests per second, and the total number of write requests per second; total number of error requests and data retrieval

          API Statistics

          1. Log in BOS Management Console to enter the overview page.
          2. Select Target Bucket from the navigation bar on the left of BOS console and click to open the Bucket files list page.
          3. Click the Statistics -> API Statistics tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page to enter the API statistical analysis page.
          4. Based on the selected Bucket, you can count the HTTP access behaviors within a specified time range and the HTTP Code returned by the system.
          • Method Statistics includes access requests such as GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, HEAD, etc. The access analysis chart will show the total number of various requests PV, number of visits UV, and total outgoing data size.

          • The access analysis chart will also show the HTTP Code returned by the system, including the statistics of 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, and 5XX series return codes such as 200, 300, 403, 408, and 503.

          User Behavior Analysis

          1. Log in BOS Management Console to enter the overview page.
          2. Select Target Bucket from the navigation bar on the left of BOS console and click to open the Bucket files list page.
          3. Click the Statistics -> User behavior tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page to enter the user behavior analysis page.

          1. According to the selected Bucket, you can count the outflow traffic in three different dimensions of Number of visitors, Operator, and Region within a specified time range.

            • Number of visitors: Count the number of visitors, the number of visits, and the total amount of data outflow of the Bucket in a certain period of time.
            • Operator: Count the total outflow traffic, the proportion to the total traffic, the number of requests PV, and the proportion to the total requests.
            • Region: Count the data outflow in the Bucket, including the total outflow of each region, the proportion to the total traffic, the number of requests PV in each region, and the proportion to the total number of requests.

          Hotspot Analysis

          1. Log in BOS Management Console to enter the overview page.
          2. Select Target Bucket from the navigation bar on the left of BOS console and click to open the Bucket files list page.
          3. Click the Statistics -> Hot topics analysis tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page to enter the Hot Spot Analysis page.

          1. You can count and sort the Hot topics objects, High-frequency IP, and high-frequency Referer according to dimensions such as "requests, total outflows, and error access", so as to quickly locate hotspots information.
