RDS for MySQL master instance
Introduction
The RDS for MySQL master instance supports the standalone basic version and dual-computer high-availability version.
- Standalone basic version: Support MySQL 5.7
- Dual-computer high-availability version: Support MySQL 5.5, MySQL 5.6, and MySQL 5.7
Specification of the standalone basic version
Instance specification supported by Standalone Basic is as follows:
- Storage disk type: Cloud disk
- Storage space: Support 5 GB ～ 3000 GB
- Memory plus CPU package: Support 1-core 1 G(minimum package) ~ 8-core 32 G (maximum package)
- Maximum number of connections: The maximum number of connections varies in different “Memory plus CPU” packages. See the table for details.

- Memory plus CPU: Support 1-core and 1 G(minimum package) ~ 56-core 480 G (maximum package)
