Overview

Baidu AI Cloud provides the tag management feature, which can quickly classify, identify, and manage the cloud resources by adding a tag to each cloud resource.

• Tags: Each tag consists of two parts: Key and value, and the tag (key+value) is unique.
• Individual and batch: Tags for individual resources is supported, and tags for cloud resources can also be created by batch.

Limit

Each user can create up to 200 tags.

Add a tag

The user can add tags for the RDS for PostgreSQL instance according to the project and scenario demands, facilitating the classification, identification, and management of the RDS for PostgreSQL instances.

Operating steps:

1. Log in to the management console, select "Product Service > RDS" and enter the page of "Instance List".
2. Tick one or more instances and click "Edit Tag".

Note: when editing tags in batch, you can only add tags, rather than manage the existing tags. Case-sensitive when setting tag key

3. In the pop-up dialog box, enter the user-defined tag key and the tag value. Note that each RDS for PostgreSQL instance may be accompanied by several tag keys, but each tag key must be unique. The value may be null and left blank.
4. Click "OK" to complete the tag creation.

Notes:

• In batch creation of tags, a single instance tag added cannot be viewed.
• To modify a given tag, unbind the tag before resetting.
• After tag creation, you can view those created tags and the number of resources bound to tags in "Tag Management" on the left Navbar.

Unbind a tag

If the RDS for PostgreSQL instance does not need tag any more, you can unbind the tag.

Operating steps:

1. Log in to the management console, select "Product Service > RDS" and enter the page of "Instance List".
2. Tick one RDS for PostgreSQL instance and click "Edit Tag" on the action bar.
3. Remove the tag in the pop-up dialog box to unbind the tag.

Resource bill

The resource bill is a feature to record the consumption-related data of each resource's life cycle, facilitating the users to view the consumption data of resources and products in the dimension of resources.

Operating steps:

1. Log in to the management console, select "Product Service > RDS".
2. Click "Tag Management" on the left navigation bar to enter the tag list page.
3. Check a tag and click "View Bill" in the operation bar.
4. Enter the resource bill page, select the month to view the bill, the consumption information of the current tag resource is displayed. You can also perform tag search by combining filter conditions, select consumption details of other tags according to tag keys/values, as well as download relevant information.
5. Click View Details to view the resource ID, product name, and bill amount.
