Renewal definition
- Prepaid instance: Extend duration.
- Postpaid instance: No expiry time is specified, without the need for renewal
- Before renewal: Ensure the account balance is enough, and the balance is greater than CNY100.
Renewal Instruction
The RDS supports two renewal modes (namely, manual renewal and automated renewal), and the user may select proper renewal mode according to different usage scenarios. Automated renewal is recommended. Scenarios for the two renewal modes are as follows:
- Manual renewal: The RDS for the initial stage, and renewal operation by OPS staff on schedule.
- Automated renewal: Be applicable to the scenario featuring long-term use of the RDS and posing higher requirements about service availability, data security, and OPS automation.
