The RDS for PostgreSQL instance supports two billing changes, namely, change from postpaid to prepaid, and change from prepaid to postpaid.

1. Enter the “RDS - Instance List” page, tick (multiple choices supported) the instance, and click the “Billing Change/Cancel”.

   • If the “Postpaid” instance is ticked, billing mode changes from postpaid to prepaid, and the change takes effect as soon as the payment is complete.
   • If the “Prepaid” instance is ticked, billing mode changes from prepaid to postpaid, and the change takes effect as soon as the prepaid mode is due, before which the billing change can be canceled. When the billing mode changes from prepaid to postpaid, and the change does not take effect, the payment mode is shown as “Prepaid (to be changed).” If automated renewal is defined for prepaid instance, billing change is unavailable.

   Note: To change the billing mode from prepaid to postpaid, the user must ensure there is adequate balance (>100), avoiding the balance check failure when the setting takes effect.

2. Confirm the payment duration, and click “Next“ to enter the “Confirm Order” page.
3. Click “Pay” to enter the payment page. Complete the payment.
