Whitelist management
The RDS for PostgreSQL can be used to set the whitelist to allow the sources of IPs that access the current instance, and supported formats include IP, CIDR (network segment) and % (no limits to any IP).
Notes:
- After the creation of the RDS for PostgreSQL instance, all IPs are allowed by default, which facilitates the user's connection. To ensure data security, users should reset the whitelist before access to the database.
- Presently, the whitelist's upper threshold is 100.
- On the "Whitelist" page of the instance, you can see the whitelist list.
- Click "Add IP", enter the whitelist to add in the pop-up Dialog, and add after confirmation.
- After selecting the whitelist to delete, click "Delete" to complete the deletion of the whitelist.
