If not sufficient, the system confirms the payment arrear and sends the renewal reminder. Access to Extranet is suspended immediately after the arrears, and the system sends the notice on service suspension in arrears, but the Intranet may be accessed.

Backups Expiration Reminder and Handling

• Expiration reminder: The system sends you the imminent expiration reminder (including instance and backups) seven days ahead of cloud database RDS instance's expiry.
• Expiration handling: if cloud database RDS instance is due, backups are ceased immediately as well (no charge for backups). The instance is released after seven days from its expiration, and relevant backups are reserved for 15 days. Meanwhile, in the case of data recovery, the user may get in touch with OPS staff via ticket. After 15 days, all backups are thoroughly deleted, and they cannot be recovered in any way.
• If the prepaid RDS instance is not due, but the backups are past due, the backups service is ceased immediately. During cessation of server, console operations like backups downloading and recovery are subject to restrictions. Those backup files beyond the complimentary storage capacity are cleared after 21 days from the arrears.

Handling method for postpaid instances

Reminder of Insufficient Balance

Handling with backups in arrears
