Overview
This article describes how to modify the Instance Name. For details, see the following contents.
Modify Instance Name
- Log in to RDS Management Console.
- In the upper left corner of the console page, select the Region where the instance resides.

Method I: Find the target instance, and click the edit button
next to "Instance Name" to modify the instance name.

Method II: Find the target instance, and click Instance Name to enter the Instance Details page. In the "Basic Information" module, click Change after the instance name to modify the instance name.
