Introduction
Overview
SmartDBA is a database smart expert product, which forges Baidu's years of DBA service capabilities into product capabilities, providing more professional, refined, and visualized services for the use of various database products on the cloud.
It supports cluster topology, performance diagnosis, SQL diagnosis, space diagnosis, session diagnosis, and other capabilities, which aims to help enterprises improve the operations of the database and significantly reduce enterprise’s operations investment.
Billing Description
This feature is free of charge, so you do not need to pay additional costs.
Prerequisites
- You already register a Baidu AI Cloud Account. For detailed operation, see Register Baidu AI Cloud Account.
- There is at least one RDS for MySQL master instance of dual-computer high-availability version under the current account, regardless of which region it resides. If not, create an instance first. For details, see Create Master Instance

Feature Introduction
The following mainly describes several core features:
1. Cluster Topology
This feature allows you to view the cluster information of the RDS instance. With the master instance as the core, it shows the relevant information of the read-only instance and proxy instance bound to the master instance. It also contains the following information, such as instance region, availability zone, subnet, and monitoring information.
2. Performance Diagnosis
This feature allows you to view and compare performance trends of individual instances within a period to find and analyze the corresponding problems.
3. SQL Diagnosis
This feature allows you to view information of the historical slow SQL and real-time slow SQL.
4. Space Diagnosis
This feature allows you to view the space overview of the instance and the data space information of the table.
5. Session Diagnosis
This feature allows you to view real-time session information and session statistics of an instance.
