The user may access data of VPC1 in Zone A via the Internet and Baidu AI Cloud’s uniform access layer, and cloud servers like BCC may speedily link with the RDS instances in the same AZ via the private network.
The RDS high-availability master instance comprises the load balance component (LB), RDS master node, and RDS backup node. The read-only instance and proxy instances are classified into optimal components.
For the RDS high-availability instance, you can select the single-AZ architecture (see leader-follower replication inside the subnet 1) or multi-AZ architecture (see cross-AZ leader-follower replication between the subnet 2 and subnet n). The multi-AZ master-slave architecture has a stronger disaster recovery capacity, compared to the single-AZ master-slave architecture.
