Slow log management
The RDS provides SLOWLOG backup and downloading features, which facilitate you to analyze and improve SQL statement execution efficiency.
Note: SLOWLOG backup updating frequency: 2 hours.
Automated backup of SLOWLOG
RDS read-only instance’s newly-added SLOWLOG is subject to automated backup. Click the instance’s “Log” tab, and select “Slow Log Report Form“ to enable “Slow SQL Report Form” and “Real-time Diagnosis of Slow SQL” on the current page.
After enabling, enter this page again, where you can view the list of created SLOWLOGs. After clicking the button nearby “Select Time/Date”, the system shows the list of logs, where you can select and view the SLOWLOG with a designated date.
Download SLOWLOG
On the “SLOWLOG” subpage, click the “Download” link next to the SLOWLOG file. In the pop-up dialog box, click “Direct Download” or copy the link address for local downloading.
