Parameter Template
Parameter template overview
A parameter template is a collection of IP addresses. Multiple IPs with the same requirements can be saved as IP address group templates, which can further be aggregated into IP address family templates. These templates can be directly referenced as source or destination IPs when configuring security group rules, improving the efficiency of enterprise security group management.
Application scenarios:
When users edit parameter templates, all security group rules linked to them take effect immediately, enhancing the operational efficiency of security group rule management.
Before configuration, you should know:
- A single region can accommodate up to 500 IP address groups.
- A single region can support up to 50 IP address families.
- The maximum number of IP addresses in an IP address group is 20.
- The maximum number of IP address groups in an IP address family is 5.
- If an IP address group or family is already associated, it can be edited but not deleted.
- To associate IP address groups or families, you need to access the Security Group page.
- Parameter templates can only be used by enterprise security groups and currently do not support instances such as regular security groups.
