Currently, Baidu AI Cloud's virtual private cloud (VPC), subnets, route tables, security groups, ACLs, elastic network interfaces, and dedicated gateways are offered free of charge.

| Peering connections | The peering connection fees shall be paid by the account initiating such peering connection. Users can select the charge type when creating peering connections. Billing commences only after successful connection negotiation and the status changes to "available". If the connection negotiation fails, the fees paid by the user will be refunded to the original account.
Peering connections service supports same-region and cross-region connections with different billing methods:

Expiration reminders and handling
- Expiration reminder: Seven days before the expiration of NAT gateway, VPN gateway, and peering connection services, the system will notify you of the upcoming expiration.
- Post-expiration action: Services are immediately suspended upon expiration, and a notification regarding service suspension due to insufficient balance will be sent. Data will be retained for 7 days at no charge. If no funds are added within this 7-day period, the service will be released. Notifications of the service release will be sent one day prior to and at the time of release.
Insufficient balance reminders and debt handling

- The system checks if your account balance (including available coupons) is enough to cover the next three days' costs based on your bill amount from the past three days. If the balance is insufficient, a renewal reminder will be sent.

Debt handling:
- At the top of each hour (Beijing Time), the system checks if your account balance is sufficient to cover the current EIP charges (e.g., at 11:00 Beijing Time, it checks for the balance required to settle the 10:00-11:00 bill). Insufficient funds will result in debt, and the system will send a debt notification.
- In the event of debt, service suspension is immediate, and the system will send a notification about the suspension. The IP address will be retained for 7 days free of charge, after which, if no payment is made, it will be released. Notifications will be sent one day prior to and at the time of release.
