Service Network Interface Card (SNIC) Common Questions
Updated at:2025-10-16
Is the service network interface card subject to rate limiting? What is the bandwidth range?
SNIC supports rate limiting. Default internal bandwidth ranges from 1 to 5,000Mbps per service network interface card. Submit a request via Quota Management for greater bandwidth. The default total bandwidth quota of the service network interface card per region is 50,000 Mbps. The service network interface card provides services to service network interface card instances through cluster deployment. All external access requests will be distributed across these cluster servers for forwarding. Rate limiting takes effect collectively across all hosts. Due to algorithm implementation, actual traffic may occasionally exceed set limits.
