Gateway bandwidth limiting

Baidu AI Cloud's gateway bandwidth limiting supports single-tuple egress limitations for cloud network products. It can collaborate with the TOPN function to identify IPs with abnormal traffic, offering users traffic analysis, fault diagnosis/localization, and network architecture optimization capabilities.

Description

• Each product has a default limit of 10 rules, with a user global quota of 50.
• For identical rate-limited IPs in the same network instance, Baidu AI Cloud prioritizes the mask number with the larger value.
• For created rules, only the limit value and description can be edited; other details cannot be modified.
• The gateway bandwidth limiting feature is currently free of charge.
• The current gateway bandwidth limiting supports peering connections, dedicated gateways, and cloud smart networks. Cross-region peering connections are supported, but intra-region connections do not currently support gateway bandwidth limiting.

Create gateway bandwidth limiting rules

Sign in to Cloud Management console and select Product Services - Network - Network Diagnostic Service (NDS) - Gateway Bandwidth Limiting.

Note:

• There are no restrictions on inputting source network segment IPs, as both VPC segments and user IDC segments are supported.
• Network bandwidth is measured in Mbps.
