Application scenarios
System layered grouping scenarios
Users can migrate core services to Baidu AI Cloud and group related service clusters within the same subnet under the VPC to create a dedicated network tailored to their needs. Subnet access rules can be centrally managed via Security Groups. For instance, you can configure a VPC, assigning Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC), Simple Cache Service (SCS), and RDS databases to specified subnets. The subnet for BCC uses NAT address translation for public network access, while SCS and the RDS database are accessed internally, ensuring the security of database servers.

Business smooth launch scenarios
With VPC's security isolation features, users can deploy multiple independent and isolated VPC networks while maintaining consistent network addressing across them. For example, enterprises might need separate production and test environments with identical network addresses. Deploying them in distinct VPCs enables seamless iteration and deployment through DevOps practices.

Scalable hybrid cloud scenarios
Hybrid cloud solutions cater to traditional companies, government sectors, financial systems, and large-scale internet users. Using dedicated connection ET or VPN services, users can link their on-premises production environments (IDC or office networks) to Baidu AI Cloud's VPC network, establishing flexible, scalable hybrid cloud architectures. This facilitates shared cloud resources, quick and secure access, and service data backup. VPC supports computing products like BCC, DCC, and BBC.
