Pay-as-you-go
Pay-as-you-go billing adopts a postpaid mode, which means that you first apply for resource usage on demand, and billing is based on the actual usage of the service you have selected (such as traffic, quantity, daily peak, and bandwidth) at the time of settlement. When the pay-as-you-go billing cycle ends, a bill will be generated and the fee will be deducted accordingly.
The system will generate a single service usage record for the usage volume within one cycle. You can view your bills in Consumption Center - Bill Details - Hour Bill.
Billing process
- Activate resources: Go to the product details page to activate postpaid resources.
- Generate order: After the resource is activated, an order with an amount of 0 will be generated.
- Generate bill: The system will generate an unpaid bill based on your resource usage.
- Pay bill: You can pay the bill using your cash balance or coupon.
-
Handle debt:
- If your account balance is insufficient to pay the fees for this bill during the deduction process, it will result in debt. After the debt, the postpaid resources will be suspended, and the system will remind you via SMS that your current account is in debt and the resources have been suspended.
- To minimize inconvenience caused by service suspension due to debt, please recharge with cash as soon as possible after your account incurs debt. The recharged amount will be used to settle the debt first.
Billing example
Take Content Delivery Network (CDN) as an example:
If you activated the Content Delivery Network (CDN) pay-as-you-go billing service at 10:00 on January 10 and released the service at 11:30 on January 10, resulting in a total billing duration of 90 minutes, the system will deduct fees in two parts: First, deduct the traffic usage fee for 60 minutes from 10:00 to 11:00, then deduct the traffic usage fee for 30 minutes from 11:01 to 11:30.
