Subscription billing
The subscription billing adopts a prepaid mode, which means payment is made before use. You can pay for orders based on your cloud resource usage needs, with billing cycles as either calendar years or calendar months. After successful payment, the cloud resources will be allocated to you by the system for use. They will be reclaimed only if you do not renew the subscription after the term expires.
Billing process
- Selection: Navigate to the Product Selection page to choose the desired product, including its configuration and duration
- Ordering: Confirm the configuration, then proceed to place the order
- Payment: You need to pay for the order. After successful payment, cloud resources will enter the resource creation process
- Resource creation: Once the cloud resources are successfully created, the cloud service will be available for you
- Expiration reminder: To avoid inconvenience caused by service suspension due to resource expiration, Baidu AI Cloud will send you reminders via SMS/email, etc. before the resources expire.
- Renewal: You can extend the validity period of the resources by renewing, allowing you to continue using the cloud resources.
Billing example
Take Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) as an example:
If you activated the annual subscription service of Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) at 10:00 on January 10, 2020, and paid for a 1-year term, the service will expire at 10:00 on January 10, 2021. The system will send an expiration reminder 7 days before the expiry date. If you wish to continue using the service, you can renew the service.
