What are the refund rules?

  • The system only supports unsubscription and refund for prepaid resources. If you no longer need to use postpaid resources, you can go to the product console corresponding to the postpaid resources to release them;
  • For the unsubscription and refund of prepaid resources, the system will charge a fee corresponding to the duration you have used, and the fee for the remaining service duration will be refunded to your original account. The refund amount = Order amount - Consumed amount. For details, please refer to Unsubscription Rule Description
  • For the unsubscription and refund of prepaid resources, the used coupons and discount coupons will not be returned.
  • Fees incurred during the refund will not be refunded, meaning charges between submitting the unsubscribe request and successful unsubscription are non-refundable.
  • Bills generated for on-demand usage of refund products are non-refundable.

Can I unsubscribe from a renewal period individually?

Unused independent renewal periods of subscribed (prepaid) resources are eligible for a full refund. You can directly go to the Unsubscription Management page, switch to the Resource Renewal Period Unsubscription tab, and unsubscribe from the renewal period.

If the resource has undergone scaling operations after renewal, this renewal period does not support independent unsubscription;

Currently, unsubscription from the renewal periods of volume packages/storage packages is not supported.

Where will my refund amount be credited?

The refund amount will be credited to your Baidu AI Cloud account balance. You can go to the Financial Overview page to withdraw it. For details on the withdrawal process, please refer to Withdrawal Instructions.

Why can’t I find refundable resources in the cancellation and refund management?

If you cannot find the record of the resource you want to unsubscribe from in the list of refundable resources, it means the product corresponding to this resource has not been integrated with self-service unsubscription or does not meet the unsubscription rules. Possible reasons include:

  1. The product corresponding to the resource to be unsubscribed has not been integrated with self-service unsubscription;
  2. The subscribed (prepaid) resource to be unsubscribed expires on the day of unsubscription;
  3. The subscribed (prepaid) resource to be unsubscribed has no unused independent renewal periods;
  4. The volume package resource to be unsubscribed has been used or was purchased more than 7 days ago;
  5. The storage package resource to be unsubscribed has been activated or was purchased more than 7 days ago;

If your case does not meet the above rules, you can submit a ticket to apply for a refund. To facilitate the quick processing of your request, please provide a detailed explanation of the refund reason and the instance ID of the resource for which you need a refund. Whether a refund is approved shall be subject to the response to the ticket.
