Billing Issues

Can postpaid billing be changed to prepaid?

To meet users’ business needs, Baidu AI Cloud supports flexible switching between pay-as-you-go (postpay) billing and subscription (prepay) billing.

  • Switching from postpay to prepay takes effect immediately.
  • Switching from prepay to postpay takes effect after the prepay period expires.

For details, please refer to Billing Change.

Why is billing still ongoing after the postpaid service is released?

After a postpay resource is released, the system will check the bill for the billing cycle that includes the release time, and deduct the fee from the account balance based on the bill.

Example: The bill for 09:00-09:59 will be generated at 10:45. If you release the postpay Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) at 09:20, the bill for 09:00-09:19 will still be generated at 10:45.

In case of exceptions, you can submit a ticket to contact us.

Failed to switch from prepaid to postpaid billing?

To switch a resource from prepay to postpay, the following conditions must be met:

  • The prepay-to-postpay switch operation must be performed 24 hours before the prepay period expires.
  • The account balance must be ≥ RMB 100 when the prepay period expires.

If the above conditions are met but the billing switch fails, please submit a ticket to contact us.
