          Disc Expiration and Arrearage Reminder

          Prepaid Disk Expiration Reminder and Handling Measures

          Prepaid Disk refers to the cloud disk storage capacity or services for several months or years you buy once in the prepaid mode. When the prepaid cloud disk storage expires, CDS sends you an expiration reminder. If you fail to Renew the cloud disk storage, the system will clear and release the cloud disk storage within a certain period, and the cloud disk storage cannot be recovered.

          Expiration Reminder

          • Expiration reminder: Within seven days before the contract expires, the system sends you a reminder of the impending expiration.

          Handling Measures after the Expiration:

          • After the expiration, the system sends you a renewal reminder and keeps the data for seven days for free.
          • On the third day after the expiration, the data disk storage will be uninstalled automatically. Then, you need to pay attention to the resource uninstallation information in time. You can also view the mounting relationship between the cloud disk storage and Baidu Cloud Compute before the uninstallation in the expiration notification email sent by the system.
          • If the disk is already mounted, you can unmount it. If the disk is not mounted, you can release the disk but cannot perform other operations during the arrearage period.
          • If your service has expired for over 7 days without renewal, the CDS data resources are cleared and cannot be recovered. In this case, you need to pay attention to the short message or email notification and renew your service in time.
          • The system sends you a notification one day before and when the system clears your resources.

          Arrearage Reminder and Handling Measures for Pay-on-demand Disk

          Pay-on-demand Diskmeans that you pay for the disk by hours through post-payment. Baidu AI Cloud generates a bill on an hourly basis according to the corresponding cloud disk storage capacity and deducts the fees incurred directly from your Baidu AI Cloud account. If you have a coupon, the system deducts the fees using your coupon preferentially. When your account is in arrears or no coupons are available, CDS sends you an arrearage reminder. If you fail to Top Up your account, the system clears and releases the cloud disk storage within a certain period, and the cloud disk storage cannot be recovered.

          Reminder of Insufficient Balance

          • Judge whether your account balance, including available coupons, is sufficient to pay the next 3 days’ fees according to your bill amount in the past 3 days. If insufficient, the system sends you a renewal reminder.
          • Judge whether your account balance, including available coupons, is sufficient to pay the next day’s fees according to your bill amount for the previous day. If insufficient, the system sends you a renewal reminder.
          • Check whether your account balance is sufficient to pay this bill on the hour, Beijing Time. For example, check at 11:00 a.m. sharp Beijing time and confirm whether the account balance is sufficient to pay the bill in the period from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If insufficient, an overdue payment occurs, and the system sends you an arrearage notification.

          Arrearage Handling

          • After your account is in arrears, the system sends you a service suspension notice and keeps your data for 7 days free of charge.
            • On the third day after the expiration, the data disk storage will be uninstalled automatically. Then, you need to pay attention to the resource uninstallation information in time. You can also view the mounting relationship between the cloud disk storage and Baidu Cloud Compute before the uninstallation in the expiration notification email sent by the system.
          • If the disk is already mounted, you can unmount it. If the disk is not mounted, you can release the disk but cannot perform any other operations during the arrearage period.
          • If your account is in arrears for over 7 days without renewal, your CDS data resources are cleared and cannot be recovered. Thus, you need to pay attention to the short message or email notification timely and renew your service in time.
          • If you fail to top up your account within 7 days, the system releases the disk. However, the system will send you a release notification 1 day before and when the disc is released. Please pay attention to the notification.

          Arrearage Reminder and Handling Measures for General storage Capacity Package (GSCP)

          • The general storage capacity package (GSCP) is immediately suspended upon expiration, and no resource bill is deducted from your account.
          • The capacity package is kept for 7 days after expiration and automatically deleted after 7 days.
          • 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the expiration of the capacity package, the system sends you a reminder message. Pay attention to the message in time.
          • The capacity package does not support renewal temporarily. If the resource package expires, you need to buy a new capacity package in time and set the effective time of the capacity package.
