          Cloud Disk Service

          Prepaid

          The Cloud Disk Service (CDS) of Baidu AI Cloud provides two flexible purchase methods, namely, annul/monthly billing or on-demand billing. The annul/monthly billing utilizes the prepaid method. The fees are deducted once only according to the disk space selected by you, and the disk space is purchased by taking 1 GB as the step size. Ensure the account is free from arrears before procurement.

          Prepaid Price

          The CDS currently has a variety of types. For the prepaid price of each type of disk, please refer to the following Table.

          Disk type Billing item Yuan/GB/Month Yuan/GB/1 Year (17% Discount) Yuan/GB/2 Years (30% Discount) Yuan/GB/3 Years (50% Discount)

          System Disk Billing Method

          The 40 GB free gift policy of the cloud compute CDS system disk will be cancelled from April 8, 2020. If you have purchased a postpaid cloud compute, the 40 GB free complimentary capacity of the postpaid CDS system disk included in it can still be used normally, but from April 8, the occupied capacity will be charged at the CDS catalog price corresponding to the corresponding disk type. The prepaid CDS system disk is not within the scope of this price adjustment, but it will still be affected when you initiate an expired renewal or allocation operation. The detailed changes in this price adjustment are as follows:

          The impact of this billing adjustment includes:

          • For the postpaid CDS system disk contained in the postpaid cloud compute BCC (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) purchased before this adjustment, the 40GB free capacity will be charged according to the CDS catalog price corresponding to the disk type; if the capacity of the created system disk is greater than 40GB, and the billing method for the excess part remains unchanged and will not be affected by this billing adjustment;
          • The prepaid CDS system disk included in the prepaid cloud compute BCC (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) purchased before this adjustment is not affected by this billing adjustment, and its 40GB free capacity can still be used for free after the adjustment until expiration. However, if you renew the prepaid cloud compute after expiration, the CDS system disk contained in it will no longer be given 40GB capacity for free; if you initiate operations such as expansion and configuration changes to the prepaid CDS system disk contained in the prepaid cloud compute, the initiated change orders will no longer be given 40GB capacity for free;
          • For the prepaid and postpaid cloud compute BCC (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) purchased after this adjustment, the CDS system disks included in it are no longer free of 40GB capacity.

          The purchase methods affected by this billing adjustment include:

          • CDS system disk included in the cloud compute BCC (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) that you purchase directly through the console or API;
          • CDS system disk included in the cloud compute (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) created by elastically scalable AS;
          • CDS system disk included in the cloud compute (architecture including x86 computing and heterogeneous computing GPU) created by resource orchestration COS;
          • The CDS data disk is not within the scope of this price adjustment.

          The areas affected by this billing adjustment include:

          • Baidu AI Cloud’s all public cloud regions (North China-Beijing, North China-Baoding, East China-Suzhou, South China-Guangzhou, Central China Finance-Wuhan, East China Finance-Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore).

          The CDS system disk pricing after the billing adjustment:

          • The price of all purchased capacity of the CDS system disk remains the same as that of the CDS data disk.

          Expiration Reminder and Processing

          Expiration reminder

          • The system will send you a reminder of being about to expire 7 days before the contract expires.

          Post-expiration processing

          • After expiration, the system will send you a renewal reminder, and the data will be retained for you for 7 days, during which no fees will be charged.
          • If the disk is mounted, you can uninstall the disk; if the disk hasn't been mounted, you can release the disk, and other operations are prohibited during the arrearage period.
          • The CDS data resources expiring at least 7 days ago are cleared. Please renew in time.
          • The system will send a notification 1 day before and when the resources are cleared. Please be careful.
