Overview

If you no longer need the current Cloud Disk Storage (CDS), you can release the disk.

Note:

• The CDS can be released only after being uninstalled.
• Only the purchased disk using the on-demand billing (postpaid) mode can be released and the purchased CDS using the annul/monthly billing (prepaid) mode cannot be released. If you want to release the prepaid disk, please first Billing Change.

Operation Guide

1.Log in to the official website of cloud platform

Log in to official website.

• If you do not register an account, you must first register an account for operation.
• If you have registered an account, you can directly Login.

2.Enter the page of "Cloud Disk Storage (CDS) list"

In the left navigation bar in the page, select "Baidu Cloud Compute > Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC)" to enter the BCC console. Click "Disk" in the left navigation bar to enter the page of disk list. You can also log in to the console, and then select "Disks" in the left navigation bar in the page to directly enter the page of CDS List.

3.Release a disk

Select the CDS to be released, and click the button of "Release" in "More Operations" above the page. In the pop-up dialog box, select whether to synchronously release the automatic and manual snapshots in the CDS. Then, click "Confirm" to release the disk.
